The aim of Maharishi Educational Organization is to bring up Maharishi International Residential School as a model International School with special emphasis on all round personality development accomplished through the introduction of the Science of Creative Intelligence and Transcendental Meditation and TM Siddhi Programme along with Public School Education based on CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) Curriculum. It is a Co-educational Day cum Residential school where students of KG to Std XII receive education
  • The academic year begins in April and ends in March. The school fulfills the need of all segments of society across the world. The Medium of Instruction is English. Special attention is given to Future achievers (academically weak students) to enable them to perform well in academics with the guidance of Special Educator and Counsellors.
  • The School has introduced NEET (Medical Entrance) Coaching for Biology students, IIT Coaching for Computer Science Students through FIITJEE and CA Foundation Course (CPT Course) for commerce students.
  • The School is also guiding the students through career counseling and guidance programmes by eminent career consultants.
  • The school conducts orientation programmes to provide extensive coaching for the students of classes X & XII by appointing subject Experts for better performance.
  • Montessori, Nursery, Primary Teachers’ training centre is functioning effectively.
  • Students are trained towards LSRW Skills through UOLO Speak English Lab.
  • Competitive Exams like NTSE, National Science Olympiad, Cyber Olympiad, KVPY, AMTI, Heritage Quiz by CBSE, FTRE, Group Mathematical Olympiad by CBSE, Science Exhibition by CBSE etc; are conducted to bring out the hidden talents of the students.
Course of Studies

The syllabus and curriculum are followed as per the norms of CBSE Board. Teaching is imparted through well qualified, competent and devoted team of teachers. The Medium of Instruction is English.

LANGUAGE PATTERN

Std I to XII : I Language – English (Compulsory)
Std I to V : II Language – Tamil (Compulsory) / Hindi
Std VI to X : II Language – Tamil / Hindi / Sanskrit
Std I to X : III Language – Tamil / Hindi / Sanskrit
From Std I to X study of III language is compulsory.
Learning Tamil as a language is compulsory from the academic year 2015 – 2016.
Skill Subject – Artificial Intelligence has been introduced for classes VI to VIII.
6th Subject – Artificial Intelligence has been introduced for classes IX & X.
6th Subject – Physical Education / Artificial Intelligence has been introduced for classes XI & XII.

The Academic year begins in April and ends in March.

Extra Curricular Activities

Change of extra - curricular activity in between the academic year and every year is not entertained. The child should continue with the same activity every year (I to V and VI to VIII – Same activity) to get proper training and to get course completion certificate in class V/VIII.
Students are trained in the following activities - Bharatha Natyam, Carnatic Music, Band, Karate, Chess, Skating, Gymnastics, Western Dance, Keyboard, Archery, Silambam & Sports and Games to enable the children to obtain high degree of competency in several extra-curricular activities.
Children can select any one activity among the activities mentioned.
School has a tie up with the Tamil University - Tanjore / Annamalai University – Chidambaram.The children are trained for the grade exams in Bharatha Natyam, Carnatic Music and Keyboard conducted by the above Universities. Students should pay only the Examination fee.

Co Curricular Activities
